Meet your Teacher

My name is Helene Alpini and I created AlpiLingual to encourage Americans to learn Italian, French, and German in the USA. I lived in Europe for 13 years, obtaining my Master's in Linguistic Sciences (Italy, France and Austria) and working in translation companies throughout Europe. When I moved back to Texas in 2023 I missed the multilingual environment, so I began contributing to what has become a community of European language learners in Austin.

I am multilingual in Italian, French, and German and have over 17 years of experience teaching foreign languages to adults and children of all ages and levels. My teaching resources are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR - A1-C2), and lessons are offered both in person and remote, individually and in a group setting.
